A Shared Dream of Ownership

Eric Yoder and Jonas Byers met while assembling trailers at a local manufacturer, beginning their career in the shop and progressing into management positions.

Both shared the dream of business ownership and decided to join forces, beginning with specialty trailers and portable welding projects for existing customers. Eric and Jonas accepted an opportunity with Jerr-Dan Corporation, building roll-back decks. The business transitioned into full-time employment and within three months Y.B. Welding moved out of the backyard shed and into their current location.

Complete Contract Fabrication Services

Metal fabrication involves a lot of steps, and every project is different. You might need metal pieces cut or formed into shape, welded, assembled into a cohesive unit, deburred, descaled, or painted. Our staff completes the actual metal fabrication process in-house and subcontracts out powder-coating or painting to a trusted local firm, so you get a completed product without having to seek out different vendors to handle each part of the process. Local delivery brings your finished product right to your door, eliminating the need for separate transportation options once the job is done. For jobs that need to be completed quickly, rush services are available.

Cutting-Edge Technology

Fast, efficient, affordable metal fabrication involves using cutting-edge machinery and equipment to achieve the precise specifications you need. At Y.B. Welding, we offer laser cutting services using the Trumpf TruLaser 5030, a fiberoptic laser cutter capable of slicing through aluminum, stainless steel, and 1.00-inch thick steel, providing impressive precision, smooth edges, and reduced snagging.

For metal fabrication that involves precision bending and shaping, our press brakes handle thick and thin materials to tight tolerances. Our press brake operators are factory trained with an in-depth understanding of the limits and capabilities of each machine. With press capacities of up to 187 tons and six-axis capability, our machines can handle your largest, most complex jobs.

Solution-Focused

Problems and challenges affect everyone from time to time and manufacturing is certainly not exempt. Here at YB Welding we are in the solutions business by providing so much more then what our name implies. What had begun as a welding service with only 2 guys in a small garage has developed into a 25+ employee business and a newly expanded 40,000 square foot shop that specializes in many unique solutions which are tailored directly to your needs as a manufacturer.

Invested in Our Community

“To whom much is given, much will be required”

We believe giving back is part of good stewardship.  Through our global and local community partners we aim to give back.  We believe we are called to serve the underserved and champion those that have no champion.  We believe that giving the next generation opportunities they may not have on their own is vital in helping our communities thrive. Children that participate in clubs, athletics and youth camps are more likely to have better grades leading to higher rates of success.  Each year we sponsor multiple youth events to help children succeed and reach their goals. We support global partners that teach sustainability and good stewardship to help communities around the world improve their quality of life.
